This amazing "Throne" was carved from a log
 that was washed up 10 miles down the coast from 
our home. It took almost as long to retrieve it from
 the sea than it took the craftsman to carve it into the superb piece you now see. The log itself, measuring
 over 5 meters long and having a girth of 4 meters, 
turned out to be mahogany. From it's appearance it 
had probably been in the water for many years, and
 had traveled many oceans.
We dried it for 2 years before starting 
any work on it!
