Driftwood chairs...extra
Dhow wood.
These two chairs were made from an old fishing boat washed up on our beach.
The
chairs are made from only two pieces, the front of the boat and a part of the
side and are very simply put together.
Each one
is different and they all have a very artistic outline.
Here a
nail still protruding from the original piece of wood.
This is a close up from the back
of one of the driftwood dining chairs. It is part of the outrigger from a local
ingalawa (outrigger fishing boat).
Driftwood dining chairs lined up
in our workshop, waiting to be finished.
A pair of driftwood dining
chairs, very argonomical and comfortable!
Here agin, every one is different!
